In Hell, but I've got a Tahoe!
I have read all of these threads on hyper Flash, and all of them relate to putting in an LM487 Flash replacement. However, on my 2000 Tahoe LS, LM487 will not fit. I have a square flasher rather than a rectangular one that the 487 is. Apparently the apparently the auto part stores around here do not understand the concept I'm trying to explain. Can anyone tell me which flasher I actually need to replace? I'll try to post a picture of the existing flasher shortly.

Have you looked at something like this, xrefs with your part number but for LEDs?

Wandered over to the local auto parts store, picked up an EP29L flasher, put it in, and solved the blinky-blinky!!! Thanks for the quick reply and assistance, that's what makes this place such a valuable and useful place!!

Awesome! Now you might want to add "Solved" to your thread title; that way others will know just from the title.
