My good friend just bought a 99 2500, it has the big block, 4L80e and all the bells and whistles. I looked it over this weekend and it needs new front hub bearings, rotors and pads. It also needs the normal diffs, trans, Xfer case services.

Are the front hub assy different from the 1500? are the rotors pressed on? Kind of looks that way to me. Other than were items, its not a bad looking truck.
How well does the fuel injection system hold up?

unknown at this time.
The 2500 hubs are 8-bolt units but the rotor should still just push right on I believe for the burbs. I would need to see a pic of it again to say for sure but Thought the trucks with dual rear wheels had to have theirs pulled because the offset off the hub. Have not stared at one in a while.

The dually's were bolted together because of the hub extension. I think these are just rusted together. I didn't look into it very far. I will cross that bridge when I take it apart.
