16 Tahoe need alignment?

Dealer replaced passenger side tie rod end due to a torn boot. It’s a 2wd (not that it makes a huge difference for this question). They did not perform an alignment. Seems to drive ok. Should they have aligned it?

Yup, I would think so. But they probably would charge you for it too. Was it under warranty?

Yes, under warranty. My steering wheel is off a tiny bit, to the left. I’ll get with them Monday. Thanks

Then they should have done the alignment and it should be nc.

Yes should do one. Typically most dealers will do one alignment under warranty before 12k miles if no parts have been replaced. If they replace any other part - they should do one even if it’s over 12k but below 36k.
