Hi All,

I have a stock AWD Escalade that is my wife's car. She loves it, but I found a GREAT deal on a full poly suspension for the car. (I have a musclecar and I upgraded to poly and I HATE it.). I want to see if there are any parts that I should go to POLY that will NOT take away the OEM ride. I have 17" wheel (stock) and my wife LOVES the comfy drive and feel. I'm ok to "tighten" the drive, but don't want to lose the comfy ride. AC Delco Pro seems to be the recommended setup with MOOG coming in 2nd. I have replaced the rear shocks (air ride) with factory OEM parts.

So my ? are:
1. What do I replace on the car suspension wise? (Front shocks seem to be fine)

2. Is AC Delco Pro still the best and most recommended?

3. Should I use ANY of the POLY kit on the car? (seem to have full kit and it's dirt cheap to buy)

4. What parts/bushings should I replace? bump stops, control arms, leaf spring bushings, lower control arms, upper control arms, sway bar, walking beam, etc, etc? (Is there a kit name I should be buying?

I went thru 100's of posts and I can't find a comparison between poly and rubber for someone who wants the stock ride.

Thanks a TON
Thomas in N. Calif

You can replace the sway bar frame and link bushings with poly that will stiffen it a bit when turning. If you are doing the upper and lower control arms use these. The front uppers: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=10372488&cc=1431694&jsn=2217 Front right and left lowers: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1151604&cc=1431694&jsn=2215 and https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1151442&cc=1431694&jsn=2216&jsn=2216

There are no leaf spring bushings. Rear track bar AC Delco is 22863710.

The AC Delco Professional is the least quality compared to OE.

There is also the choice of the rear suspension pieces. Also, replacing the steering components will not make a difference of the soft feel the wife likes. Also, just the new parts alone will give it a new car feel to the suspension. The suspension feeling breaks done over a period of time and the driver may not feel it till it is very bad but new will wake it right up.
