Thank You. Your dod delete thread was a great reference. I have been studying it for quite awhile. Hopefully I don’t have to do it 3 times like you did.Sounds fantastic! Nicely done!

Curious - what’s the lift on that cam?Well, I was driving up to Wisconsin from Tennessee last friday and got a bad shake and loss of power. Pulled over and popped the hood and the engine was shaking bad. Shut it off and checked for codes. No codes were showing. Tried to start it up and it would barely run and was knocking. I was thinking the worst. Had a friend come with a trailer to get it home 3 hours away. Pulled the valve covers the next day and had a broke valve spring. I happen to have a set of yellows of an ls2 so I threw one in and fired it up. Ran great. No noises. GPI is sending a new spring to replace it but the yellows are basically the same and should get me by until the new one gets here. I’m guessing it was just a bad spring.
Also I want to give a shoutout to Allssop Repair in Whittington, IL. I had it towed there to get it off the side of the road and wait for my buddy. I didn’t have them do any work but the hospitality they showed was great. They offered to take us to get something to eat which I refused. They provided us with drinks and snacks for the wait and seemed like very good people.

We had a valve spring break on our stock 2013 XL Denali last year. Local shop charged me 1-1/2 hours for diagnostics and gave me a quote of over $5000 because they said I had a bad lifter. I took it home to do the work myself and found the broken valve spring.Well, I was driving up to Wisconsin from Tennessee last friday and got a bad shake and loss of power.
