This is set to arrive tomorrow. First piece to the round eye conversion I’m gonna do and these are hard to find in GMC especially in good condition :)

Shweeeett! Old ones leaked?
That wing window had been gooped up with RTV (notice the “do not open” label ) and the rubber was cracked but wasn’t leaking just yet and the window motors were weak. So therefore it was time for an overhaul! :) I’m also going to wire in some relays to make the windows go up and down quicker than stock so that should help out the new motors, too.

This is taking longer than a boat.
This will definitely take longer than probably 5 boats  I need to quit my job for this to not take way longer than it should :happy175:

Are you going to pretty her up or are you going to go for the junkyard look?

Pretty her up. With the front end being in black primer already there is no cool patina to preserve so that kinda made the decision for me

SWEET! I love putting new parts in.
These doors are a pain in the butt with a lot of sharp metal but it’s definitely nicer once done. I’m dreading the back doors. They don’t have much room to work with
