Thanks! Much appreciated
Okay sweet!

So on the factory camera harness plug that is not the furthest one to the rear but the one right before that (picture of it) I cut and spliced 3 of the wires and left one cut.

1 cut gray wire and left alone
2 Orange wire (factory 6v wire) wired this to the short red wire coming out of the new camera rca connector
3 white or pink w black stripe - factory ground, cut and splice to ground on camera ground wire
4 oem white wire cut and splice to new camera video wire
5 factory 12v in rear wiper motor, thick pink w white stripe, cut it and splice it back together but first one of the cut sides with the new camera power red wire

I know my pic is grainy but it’s pretty clear in real life

Hope this helps. I haven’t made everything all tucked and neat yet. Still trying to figure out why my liftgate won’t close on its own before I bundle everything up nice and put the panel back on.

I also spliced a female RCA connector in but you could just cut the RCA connector on the camera and go from there.

Alright it worked! It's dark so I can't comment on the image quality during the day, but it is far superior at night

I have to adjust the line markers, this unit supposedly has the ability to adjust width and length I believe

Yeah
Looks great!
Thanks for all your help, this thread turned out great! I'm so glad I didn't have to spend $150 for a stock camera that isn't too good to begin with

Here's the camera I got, so far so good. The body is real nice, feels like a marble, definitely not plastic! It's a bit smaller than stock, I rigged up some small foam pads and caulk.

Looks close to what I picked up, same look and price-about.
Really happy to have a backup cam now, mine had been broken since I got the truck

I know this thread is super old and this is a long shot, but I have to replace my factory camera.... Again. And I'm tired of spending money on "oem replacements". I can't really tell from the photos above but you don't just cut the oem connector off and wire up the aftermarket camera?

It’s been a while but I don’t recall cutting the wires. Either the pigtail came out when I pulled out the old camera or I got to it behind the inner lift gate panel.
