'07 Tahoe + CCM + 275/60r20

Ok I have a 2007 Tahoe LT. I just got my grubby paws on my CCM leveling kit. First off let me say WOW ordered Friday morning delivered to my door Monday morning. Also what a well put together kit. Welds are good, machining is smooth looks really nice. Almost hate to hide it under the truck! Here is a factory pic of the lift.

We all know how good them Texas style 20" wheels look. Well ebay sent me a 10% off coupon SOOOO like it was meant to be I ordered some rep's. 719.00 shipped to my door. They get great ebay feedback and I couldn't find a single bad word on the web. I had a tracking number within 12 hours and they should be home by Wednesday.

I didn't want to trim and 95% of what I read said 275/60r20's will fit with no mods. The rest says moderate to major trimming. My question is this, in the event they need to be trimmed, would 1/4" wheel spaces help? As in I do not want to take a knife to my tahoe. The tires are firestone destination at. So not super agressive.

I'd way rather trim some plastic then use spacers. I'm sure many people would agree with me. I have a leveling kit on some 33's and trimmed plastic. Spacers are no good IMO.

I'm using that tire size on my 01 and would expect with your level kit it will work without rubbing

Id say with the CCM kit you shouldnt have any issues, the tire is a bit taller, but not wider.

you may have minor, minor rubbing when say in reverse with the wheel cranked or flexing, but nothing that is a problem. I agree with felix about spacers. heres some pics of a z71 burb on stock suspesion with 285/65/18 BFG AT's (I'm sure he had some rubbing tho) he hasn't done any trimming either. sorry pics are pretty poor quality.

I say go for it, you wont be disappointed, and share some pics when ya do!

275/60r20 are pretty much a 33" diameter wheel/tire combo. It will be really close, but I would expect some minor rubbing in some cases.

IMO just get want you want and deal with the trimming. Ok not too wide or tall...
