Most likely getting laid off , but fingers crossed I still have a month or two left but who knows with these oil prices.
Been quarantined at work for a month but I get to go home tomorrow. Have a few updates on the Tahoe . Since everything is closed I’ll be hibernating in the garage getting a lot of stuff don’t that I’ve been procrastinating.

It’s was coming anyway , but didn’t expect it to be this soon. Might delay my move to AZ till next year. Which really really sucks but that just means more money saved. We will see

Yep welcome to the unemployment club. I’m enjoying my time off, doing lots of projects. And now the extra $600 a week kicks in plus the check for $1200 which I’ve already spent.

you guys been living under a rock? It’s part of the Coronavirus relief that Congress passed a couple weeks ago. First thing, you get a check for $1200 per adult in your household, plus $500 per dependent child. Then you get $600 per week from the feds if you’re unemployed on top of your state unemployment. And the fed unemployment will be back paid to when they passed it, and this is the second week already. Plus they added 13 weeks to your base state unemployment. And waived the waiting week although some states aren’t doing that. Plus you don’t have to look for work if your company plans on reopening which is pretty much everybody that’s getting laid off. I’ll be making close to before I was laid off and I already have about $2400 coming to me next week.

Oh and I forgot...my bank is running a special on mortgage payments- no payments for 3 months and no interest accrues during that time. And Allstate is discounting my car insurance because nobody’s on the road. School loans, same thing if you want to defer. And nobody can get evicted for not paying rent for the next few months. 3.2 trillion relief package being pumped into the economy and they’re working on another 3 trillion dollar package. Round 2. And the Fed says they won’t run out of bullets to prop up the economy.

The federal government is sending the stimulus via direct deposit next week to everybody that filed a tax return and did direct deposit. Then everybody on SSI the next week. Then paper checks but you’d better not be waiting on those because they will take forever. The extra unemployment should also start coming next week depending on your state. Oregon unemployment department said next week. And that’s retroactive back to the week the bill passed, 2 weeks ago, so we all should get at least 2 weeks worth maybe 3.
