Didn’t really like the lower 05 Tahoe lip so I took it off.

Then I didn’t like the valance or fog lights so I took those off

Jk I found a z71 valance locally. Was about to drop $160 on a new one then found one locally for $100, so I talked him down to $50 including fogs

So like before I cleaned it up then plastidipped the valance to give it a deep satin black look. The oem valance is grey and the z71 is actually a dark grey. But neither are black

Bought all new valance clips, but to my surprise I was able to save all the clips and reuse them. If you remember these clips are less than a year old so they came out much easier than the ones from before that were from 2003. So now I have a bunch of extras. $8 for 15 online compared to $9 each at vato zone. Valance takes 13 clips

Wet sanded and polished the fogs. Waited for the dip to fully cure over night. Next day I installed the the lip back on. It’s too long for the z71 valance so I had to trim about an inch off each side. Then installed everything onto the bumper. Amazing how just the valance changes the whole look of the front. Much better imo

Had some 6000k hid bulbs laying around from my previous stock fogs so I threw them in (both housings take 880 bulbs). Plan to order 5500k or 5000k led bulbs since these housings hate the hid heat. Yes I went backwards to form over function with these fog lights but I have some plans for later because these style fogs are garbage for output.

I knew the Z71 lower valance would work on our bumper. I made a suggestion on someone else's thread, and guys didn't believe me :bleh:!
Anyway, I think it looks great.
