Spent a day debadging, removed the flares then clay bar and polishing a buddy’s truck. What a beast, thankfully he helped. And he told me is a Grizzly edition.

I thought you had to use HEAT to remove bolts with Yellow loctite.

Impact or my tried and true bfp

I may be wrong about the yellow. I just had a memory of seeing it. Might have been on the Ferd, too.

There are tons of different kinds /strengths. Enough that color isn't the end all be all. Red 271 vs 272, etc. Yellow may be an assembly line thing t,oo. I got mine out using the old two wrench trick, no problem.

Nah, doesn't look like you're wrong..... looks like yellow probably is assembly line grade like you said.

According to their website, red is the one you have to remove w/ heat...

Well answer me this , what’s the torque specs on the caliper bolts ? It’s not much I don’t think, 100lbs? Found all sorts of numbers online

I show caliper mount 80. Caliper bracket 129.
^ This. I figured it would be around there. My grandfather's Ram caliper bracket is something crazy- I think 140 foot pounds. Had to get the 3/4" ratchet out for one side and decided to just fire the impact up for the other side. Glad I did- was way easier.

So side note , I’ve had always had 2 jobs for like the past 10 years (I know, workaholic) and I’m just exhausted. So I saved up some money and was able to quit both jobs to focus on getting a CDL. Well past 2 months I’ve been going to school with about 10 other students and just last week I passed all my tests with flying colors and was the first in my class to get my commercial drivers license. Something I’ve been wanting to get for a couple years now , ever since I decided that I want to drive for a living. This means more money and more mods in the future. Right now it’s just the class B, later I will get the class A. I have all endorsements (hazmat, passenger, doubles/triples, etc) and also passed the test and currently have my class A permit.

I still have my class A, going back to 1990. Back then each state had their own requirements until they federalized in the early 90's, just so every state was on the same page. Wonder why they didn't give the A instead of the B. Do you have your medical card yet? Mine is up this month. Gotta renew it. I had Hazmat twice. I used to drive a straight job tanker truck for an environmental company in NY. Don't let that endorsement go. It sux to get but great to have. I let mine go. Looking to go otr or local--home every night? Congrats buddy :waytogo:. Btw--don't get any moving violations, even while driving your Hoe. It'll affect your cdl, and you DEF don't want/need that. Good luck.
