Nnbs lever looks great and feels nice to grab on to.
Can see the difference side by side. Nbs has more of an angle to it.
Just a trial fit. Still need to wire up tow/haul button.

Cubby is much cleaner. That cob is super bright too. Maybe one day I'll get to this mod.

I thought mine was a little warped, yours looks exactly like mine does.
Yeah every pic of a cubby I've ever seen its always warped. It bothers me a little. Plan to heat it up and square it off later....maybe

So all the cubbys I've ever seen came out of center consoles with the air vents next to them..I think the heat makes them warp. This is why the vents are low by the feet on models with rear audio because there would be too much heat in one spot from having the controls and vents next to each other.

Mine is half that size and in the Denali's there's no vents nearby. Still warped.

I would assume yours came with rear audio. But being a 02 I'm not sure. Never know about these trucks and all the infinite options

Yeah it had rear audio controls which I removed and installed the cubby in it's place.

Oh so it came from another truck. That's what I meant. Original truck with vents on the side.
Either way I'm not too bothered about it, if it was any worse I'd try and heat it up and shape it out.

So I got some basic smd led switchbacks for the tails. Red for parking , white for reverse. Took out the eagle eye reverse lights.

Got another set of 3157 plugs for these. Same concept as the front turn signals 4 hi mod i did. So basically I have 6 parking lights total....so I have 6hi tail light mod? Did I just invent another mod? Lol

Parking light and reverse on.

Parking light only

Reverse only

Of course I don't expect these to be nearly as bright as the eagle eyes for reverse. But I plan to add a high powered led cube or two under the bumper.

Just an idea I wanted to try out with standard tails since I don't have them fancy led tails that all yall have :secret:
I give credit to a nnbs member on here for a similar idea. Except he had the idea of white reverse lights with amber switchbacks for turns.
