Battery took a crap in my remote about a month ago . Can still use the viper phone app but this is just quicker lol. Walking up to the truck and hit unlock on the app it has to send the signal to wherever it goes then send it back up unlock, and that only does the drivers side . Hit unlock twice for all 4 doors to unlock. So for that one thing the remote is actually convenient.

I have the same remotes and alarm. For some strange reason my remotes become unpaired with the alarm sometimes--one at a time. It's a pita to pair them back too. That happens to yours too?

Replaced the battery terminal bolts with new ones. Including an extended one to be used for connecting secondary battery which I still need to get cable made for it. these just pop right out of the rubber surround then pop back in. It’s common for these side post bolts to strip out over use. My ground bolt was stripped and I wasn’t able to tighten it down which can cause major electrical issues. So it’s a cheap and easy fix I thought I’d share.

They make the bolts softer than the battery posts so the bolts strip instead of the battery posts.

Have to trim/notch the side of the support bracket. As for the side brackets it’s only held by one bolt so is can be angled down to match the mounting point on the now lower bumper . Trying to figure out what the best way to reinforce those so there’s no sag later

Can’t install until painted. Picked up a brand new pad for $90 locally. Always enjoy painting, never enjoy sanding textured pieces lol . Came out good, made sure the middle area always stayed flat and the entire piece was sitting evenly because I know a lot of people hang these on saw horses or whatever and that’s how the pad gets warped in places and the end result doesn’t fit very well

Make sure to put in these spacers. These were included with the aftermarket bumper pad . They go under the raised ends . Not sure if oem is like this. Anyway these made it a pain in the a$$ to fit into the bumper but it worked and the fit is super snug
