03-06 2nd Row Bucket Recline Handle Question

Well after a year of persistant searching everywhere, I finally got a nice set of 2nd row buckets to replace my bench in my 06.

Would someone take a look at their's and tell me how that recline handle on the outboard side of each seat is attached.

Is it a press/friction fit (to which I'm SOL, as it's way loose) or is there some kind of bolt/screw (to which I 'm SOL as I don't see how that would work either, given the gap of space in the end of the rod that the handle attaches to)

2nd Row Bench / Bucket Swap Works

I know this comes up from time to time and most people get replys like:
"it should work", "I think it will work", and most dealers will say "no way it works".


Well folks I can say.......IT DOES WORK (within the proper generation trucks)

I got a set of 2004 2nd row buckets and direct swapped them for my bench

Plug-n-play......other than some busted knuckles

My 04 Z71 comes stock with "captain's chairs in the 2nd row....

Not that I'm ridin back there.....but the seat back reclines.......more comfy than the bench imo....

do they still fold forward and flat like the bench? i might have to look for a set myself if they do. i like those

The bottom pulls up and rests against the back of the front seat and then the backs of the captains chairs fold down in where the bottom was at....
