Earlier you said the blower was wet. How did the resistor look? I did some recent water leak work on a 2005 Tahoe and the resistor was rusted.

Can you send me a link to it please? Not super great at finding specific threads on here lol.Check out that thread about the water leak I dealt with thst soaked the blower motor and resistor.
Thanks! Where were you able to get the foam for the seals? And to clarify, there’s a foam seal under the plastic cover for the fresh air intake(I already put a lot of sealant around the perimeter of that) a foam seal in the center of the cowl area(that needs replaced on mine it’s almost completely gone) and one around the screen cover going to the blower motor on the fresh air intake? There are just some days I wish I didn't turn wrenches
Then I drove to Sweet Home, Oregon and bought some tools from a guy that I had purchased, for $850, S/O new digital 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" drive flex head torque wrench set that typically sells on the truck for around $2200. He had only used the 3/8" drive 2 times. You could see he was not lying...www.tahoeyukonforum.com

Thank you! Not sure if my leak is the same as yours though. Took a hose today and sprayed the whole cowl area with water, not a drop of water. Sprayed all around the windshield, and thats where I saw a drop of water streaming down on the side by the foam I showed in the video. I'm sure that'd get into the blower motor! I think I find myself and needing a windshield again.I used fresh silicone sealant around the screen cover seal area. That is where the water was coming in at the blower/resistor. As you can see I removed the upper cover, cleaned and resealed with the same silicone sealer. I just went to the auto parts store for a roll of tape seal for the other hole. I have looked at this same Tahoe 2 times since then, it was here for other work and we get plenty of rain here in the PNW and the Tahoe sits outside. I easily removed the resistor and it was dry and so was where it lives.
I have read all of this and several posts back, your testing and results made me think the w/s reseal/replacement is needed. If you have comprehensive coverage, crack it and send in to insurance. I would get any seals that are with it, on each side or above, and have them done at the same time. Do not count on the seals being part of the w/s install.Thank you! I agree, probably windshield. You think that's a good idea to crack the windshield? I do have comprehensive coverage, but with all the sealant I've put all over it and the water don't you think an appraiser would notice that?I have read all of this and several posts back, your testing and results made me think the w/s reseal/replacement is needed. Others will have an opinion but I have never heard of an appraiser for a comprehensive claim. Besides, you are not taking it in for a leak, you are taking it in for a crack. Again, ask around and read your insurance paperwork.
