My Tahoe was running perfect on 300 mile trip towing a boat then 2 days later it started then shut off after around 15 seconds.

Now when I start it I get some warning messages which I don't believe are related to the problem, then it shuts off within 15 seconds

When I start it there is a pause before trying to turnover then it starts but get Service Suspension, Service 4 WD, and Gauges aren't responding.

I have a new battery, just changed the oil and my fuel pump is 1 year old.

I have tried like 20 times and this happens every time, I actually got it to start 1 time and I tried to hook up 2 different ODB2 readers and neither would connect, I have used both before and they both connected, I let it run for about 30 minutes while trying to connect the ODB2 readers then I shut it off, so I know its getting fuel. I even put it drive and pulled up a few feet to see if it would drive and it did.

Anybody seen this before??

Just a guess here.... I'm thinking it's electrical in nature. Start with your battery cables, and then the grounds. I would question the ignition switch. (An inexpensive part, I might even replace that first)

If my memory is correct the OBD2 port and the center console cigarette lighter are on the same fuse. Check that and see if you can get your OBD2 port working again.
Very few things will kill the engine after running 15 seconds. I would hook up a fuel pressure gauge and watch what happens as it starts and dies. Regardless of how old your pump is.

A fuel pump can self destruct in as little as 30 seconds if you run the tank too dry. They are fuel lubricated and never recover from a dry start.

"Gauges aren't responding".... Do you mean it's as if the entire vehicle was turned off, like with the key? All power off? When it does that, I'm curious if the dome light comes on when you open the door?

In other words, is all power off or is it just the ignition?

Gas gauge reads empty but tank is full, Other gauges are all the way down except the battery that reads in the middle. The car is at a remote Chevy dealer 300 miles away in the Michigan UP, they won't get to it for 2 weeks. The auto-matic tailgate won't open either. I have also seen the gauges bounce around when trying to start before they stop responding.

So the clusters not completely dead like when you turn the key off. I would want to have the battery load tested. Even brand new batteries sometimes fail quickly.

After researching your Iginition switch suggestion it certainly seems to point to that

Either the switch or a ground cluster that affects all the above. A good wire diagram might save your bacon seeing how all your maladies might tie together.

Go to All Data and purchase the diagrams for your truck, it helps a lot.

Thanks for help guys, the dealer said its a faulty Electronic Suspension Control Module (25971217 GM), they unplugged it and the truck ran normally. Granted the Suspension isn't operational but I understand its drive-able. I intend on getting it fixed does anyone know a good place to get part #25971217 apparently its discontinued.

JUNK YARD/ebay/lkq but it will need to be learned to the vin with a higher end scanner or techline connect.
if you have a junkyard that lets you pull the parts yourself that will be the cheapest, just has to be a matching part number
they range from $100-200 used on ebay

we bought our 07 Denali without the suspension electronic control module 7 yrs & 75k miles ago, no issues except we get the "service suspension" DIC message at startup. I believe pt# is 15095294, ebay, junk yard, etc. Rear shock bladders are bad too. We don't tow
