I have a 2012 Tahoe. The rt front wheel bearing is humming a lot and I’m going to change it. I looked on ROCK AUTO for a replacement and there are sooo many. Which ones are the better quality and hopefully made in the USA. I keep seeing not good things about Moog.

Timken or GM Genuine, only.

I run kryptonite wheel bearings in my trucks no issues and lifetime warranty! I think I read somewhere that their rebranded timkens but I could be wrong on that I order them through Rudy’s diesel in Nc
They’ve held up 100,000 miles with 24x14s on 35/15.50s with 2” wheel spacers

I thought they were possibly rebranded skf xtracker.. both had the ball bearings and taper bearings I believe..

I went with skf xtracker.. I wasn't totally convinced that its a better design than stock, mine seem to make a little noise on high speed turns from new..so its good to hear yours have held up!

I’ve had em on 2 about to be 3 trucks now and have multiple buddy’s who run it and are happy with the kryptonite stuff.
Plus Rudy’s diesel ships it to my house within a day so when I’m in a pinch their the quickest to order from

I went with the SKF X-Tracker Hybrid hubs and just had to replace them at just under 60k miles and 3 years on my Suburban. Luckily they have a 5 year 60k mile warranty that Rockauto honored. Not real happy about it though since all of my research said the corvette guys that road race love them. I guess a 3000 lb corvette isn't the same as a 6000 lb Burb... lol

They were pretty crunchy when I pulled them off.

If I have to do them again and they are out of warranty then I will definitely be going with Timken, which was my first instinct, but as usual I am always looking for something better or upgraded when replacing parts which is why I tried these.

Either SKF or Timken. I’ve always used SKF. Both are very good and the key is to NOT assume they’re pre greased. I always grease em up regardless.

Are you 2 or 4WD?
