2015 Yukon Denali power board stays out. When I shut door it tries to go in but only about 1/2” then goes back out. Acts like it thinks door is open.

Very likely you have a hinge assembly binding and the motor is hitting its torque limit. This can be caused by dirt and grit building up in the pivot points.

I sprayed silicone wd 40 on all moving parts. Can I disassemble them and clean them?

OK now that everything is lubed up I can push it in with my hands and it’ll stay in but when I open the door it opens back up when I shut the door. It won’t go back in like it’s hung up but I can help it with my hands every time and was trying to keep doing it to see if it would eventually work correctly. Do you think it could be a motor?
