2015 Yukon Denali power board stays out. When I shut door it tries to go in but only about 1/2” then goes back out. Acts like it thinks door is open.

Very likely you have a hinge assembly binding and the motor is hitting its torque limit. This can be caused by dirt and grit building up in the pivot points.2015 Yukon Denali power board stays out. If you “help” it by closing the door and lifting with your foot can you make it close?I sprayed silicone wd 40 on all moving parts. Can I disassemble them and clean them?

I’ve used my hands and it will not budge any farther
Might have a hinge bound up due to mis-alignment. Might try and loosen the mounting bolts on them a little and see if that helps.I’ve used my hands and it will not budge any farther

I checked everything and after lubing it up, and I guess sitting a while it will let me push it up in , then it forces itself back out
