I like it! Great job. How's it work? Doing anything cosmetic for the look, or leav8it as is? What other mechanical mods were needed?
Working great. Drove it out on the dunes with no problem. I wont be doing anything to dress it up other than maybe a knob with an engraved shift pattern.

Original rear shaft was reused. Aside from the shifter and front shaft, the NP241 is a direct swap mechanically speaking.
Excellent, that is what I wanted to hear. Going to yank the next one i see at the junkyard. Will grab the shaft and linkage too.

A little before and after with my CB installation.
CBcenterconsole.jpg

Without the center console, I was able to finally install my RM Italy linear amp. Its a KL203-P 100W piece that allows 10W intput, so I dont need to mod the radio to 2W output. Radio and amp are both running off the old powers and grounds that ran the power sockets and Bose amp. If i run into noise Ill runs a dedicated cable to the battery.

Seeing the console removed makes me want to find a lower model Tahoe for me even more since the wife likes all the bells and whistles that i dont need. Pull the console do a nv3500/241 swap.
