ya a lot of people don't know the push to start fobs have a hidden key in case the battery is weak or dead, that in of it's self may not keep the accessory on but it will let you start it if the fob dies, I didn't know until a little while back when I was messing with a fob to sell on ebay and found the hidden release button the side they disguise them pretty well.

If fob dies, use key to enter truck then place dead fob in console where there is a slot for it and truck starts with reg push button. No ignition switch to put key into. The fob just sits in slot.

Same as C6 Corvette which along with no door handles the purists hate. Guy in Texas and his dog died bc battery went dead and he didn’t know how to manually open doors from inside. Do new rigs have interior handles?
