    Console Safe by Lock'er Down

Thanks for posting the information. I still have my Lock'er Down Console Safe. Always sad to read about someone closing their business when the products they made were so well constructed.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Removed the ancient dinosaur vintage BlackVue DR-400G-HD dash cam that I installed in 2012 and replaced it with a VIOFO A329S 3CH dash cam system today. Thank heavens for YouTube and a very old thread from this forum dealing with a location to hook up the dash cam accessory wire. On a side...

    Air Bag recall

Called a Chevrolet dealer (Scoggin-Dickey in Lubbock, Texas) today and was told by a service writer that I would have to leave my 2010 Chevy Tahoe "for a couple of days" and they would have to "R&R the dash". I assume "R&R the dash" means "Rip-out & Reinstall the newly cracked dash" or...

    Mileage Thread (07+)

My 2010 Tahoe has around 15,800 miles on it. Poor thing hardly ever gets out of the garage to see the sun.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I bought gas today for my Tahoe. Odometer show 14,717. May have to replace the tires sometime around May 2036. Last year, I found some gizzmo in the interior that I had never used before and had to look it up in the owner's manual. LOL

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I didn't do anything to my Tahoe today. I didn't do anything with it yesterday, either. I've got to get it out of the garage a little more so it can get some sun on it. It's so dark in the garage. The poor thing only has around 7,600 miles on it.

Navigation disc spinning after engine shutdown?

If I have a navigation disc inserted, it's normal, and quite annoying, in my 2010 Tahoe. I removed the navigation disc many years ago and started using a Garmin GPS unit. Two problems solved . . . no noise caused by GM's faulty design and a first-class Garmin GPS unit. Just for amusement...

Can you open your lift gate while your truck is parked in your garage?

Keeping in mind that I don't pull my vehicle all the way to the front of the interior of the garage when parking, the lower edge of the rear tailgate of my 2010 Chevy Tahoe touches the rubber trim on the frame of the garage opening when I open the rear tailgate with the garage door up, and that...

    Thank goodness for roadside assistance

I hate to be negative ( ;) ), but here is a warning concerning having roadside assistance through your insurance company: Many insurers consider roadside assistance claims as one predictor of risk, which can impact premiums. Insurance companies are known for keeping track of such information...

Best place to mount a brake controller

I mounted mine using the one existing screw just to left of where the mount is located in the picture above. No use drilling if I don't need to. I don't even come close to having my leg hit the brake controller unit when it is attached to the mount.

    Help ID this underdash pigtail

In the past, most people who ordered our type vehicles did not pay the $200.00 option to have an integrated trailer brake control unit installed at the time the vehicle was manufactured, but a lot of people did pay to get the heavy-duty trailering package and trailering receiver/connector...

    update factory GPS

Not only are the Garmin updates FREE, but they're FREQUENT! And they won't hose other parts of your vehicle. As far as GM getting with it, now that's downright funny. :evillol:

    police package hub caps

Even the police can't stand that God-awful ugly gold color Chevrolet slaps all over everything. There are some real dimwits in GM management.

    Console Safe by Lock'er Down

You're very welcome! I can't think of a bigger-bang-for-the-buck quick upgrade than a Console Safe. I get lots of positive feedback any time someone sees mine.
