Will take a photo for you tomorrow.

I had it fully painted and cleared the same as the top so it is shiny.

It came with a heat shield in great condition (heard these could not be ordered anymore either).

I cannot bring myself to put it back on and cover up the nice paint work.

So far so good driving around town, but then again it is not summer temperatures either.

That's the question I have? I heard the heat shield off the factory hood wont work under the HD hood.

No it will not. They are different.

ouch... I would order a new one to fit. that would be much cheaper than having to repaint it again! a long trip on a hot day then park it in the sun could get bad real quick!

I've got the OEM HD one in my shed perfect condition. Just have to put it on.

Underhood light from HD was the only corroded bit and it broke off when I got if from the junkyard.

The LS did not come with it. Might be doing an LED underhood lighting that I saw someone on here do.
