Yea I don't like halos either. They were cool when they first came out but after like a year and seeing more and more cars have them I just unhooked the halo part.
So you can unhook the halo part that's what I was wondering and you can use led or hid or whatever in the projector housing?

If you'd like a reverse cam sooner than later this is a good option and what I use on my Tahoe. Much cheaper than the price you mentioned before. I have the avh-x5700bhs head unit so basically the same deck as you and it works as it should with my deck.

Have you got a picture of how you mounted it and how the screen looks in reverse on the screen?

I like the camera. Does the camera come with the cable to run to the radio? I came across these lights last night.

was thinking it is hard to see behind the truck at night with the windows tinted. Might add these into the bumper. To help with the camera sight and mine too at night.

and mount the camera right beside one of them.

It did come with all the wiring.

I'd do camera first then add lights if needed. I'd agree it's hard to see out back with tinted windows but reverse lights work pretty well with camera

Part of why the bumper is so visible to the camera is because the bumper is bent down. Old owner did not take care of this vehicle.

Oh ok. I was just thinking it would look cool with the lights flushed into the bumper.

Ok so the other day I returned the led headlights and switched them over to hid much better. While I was there I went ahead and let him put leds in the whole front minus the high and fogs. Looks really good. But then I got the hyperflash. So I replaced the flasher module now they all work great. No stinkin resistors for this guy.

OK everyone the upgrades have been slow with life going on. But I cranked the torsion bars up and leveled out the Burban. I think it looks pretty good.
