Beside broken engine mounts and exhaust manifold bolts breaking what other items are recurring problems? Also saw GM reps would occasionally offer assistance, have they gone away?

Evap solenoid is well known to fail.
Door handles brake all the time.
Button for the rear glass on hatch.
Motor mounts.
Exhaust manifold bolts.
Y pipe rusts out in the salt states.
Seat foam brakes down rather fast.
Not sure if this is common but my dads power lift gate has failed 4 times now.
Cylinder deactivation system fails.
Never seen one get the stated MPG on the window sticker!

20mpg hwy my @#$. Maybe down hill with a tail wind on a trailer!

My family has five 2007 or newer Tahoe/ Yukon 5.3l. No one has ever seen 20mpg on the highway as an average. Mine dose about 18mpg. So do the rest of them. We have all seen 20mpg here and there. But none can average it.

My Subaru was rated for 24mpg hwy. I get 28mpg or better most of the time. So its not the driver.

Gremlins run rampant through out the vehicle. They bite on occasion, be careful.

The EPA estimates are basically inflated numbers. They are achievable under absolutely perfect circumstances, but not likely in the real world. I don't know many people that take them seriously. Plus, I didn't buy a Suburban because I thought I'd be getting good fuel economy. I always find it amusing when I see full size SUV owners whine about gas mileage. Is it fun to try to get the best fuel mileage possible once in a while? Sure. But to expect it all the time is just silly.

- SLP resonator delete
- Air Raid intake with AEM dry filter.
- AC Delco plugs
- MSD 8.5mm wires
- Goodyear Wrangler AT tires (275/55-20)
- Royal Purple fluids (motors and differentials)

Transfer case problems ( Intermittent Service 4wd message)
Doors locks not functioning (3 of 4 of my locks don't function 100%)
Rear glass defrost solder joint breaking (hasn't happened to me but, did my aunt & uncles Tahoe)

I would say that i get 16 MPG in Vegas stop and go traffic and around 21-22 driving to Northern Cali. I am very happy with the # as i didn't buy it for that but i won't complain about it either. My MPH went up when i got my tune and turned off the AFM-DoD or what ever they want to call it.

But i have had the Bat replaced, and door handles replaced all before my truck was 3 yrs old.

Dash cracks. Terrible GM won't handle this for us in these expensive vehicles. It's clearly a problem. Makes my Denali feel like junk. I watch the thing rattle more than the road half the time lol.
