not much. thought I would use some steel brushes and hand soap. Then I heard butter will keep it looking nice as a wax. So going to try that today.![]()
Comet. And yes, it did happen. A neighbor thought she'd do her husband a favor and wash his car when he was away on a trip. With one of her sons in tow, they washed their 65 Rambler with Comet and sponges in the driveway.
The car _was_ clean, but no longer shined. Luckily, he had driven the Mercedes to the base, so it was out of reach.

She was banned from ever washing a car again. Hmmm, maybe that was the plan.


So it's flammable obviously so is it good for your paint's finish long term?
it's most likely good stuff. I'm the last person who should be questioning what you use to detail cars LOL
