Alright, need some help. I know there are tons of threads on here about tires but I'm now in the final stages of my decision and have narrowed it down to two tires.

Nitto Terra Grappler G2 285/65/R18
Toyo Open Country R/T 285/65/R18

Want an aggressive look, without a TON of road noise, I'm not doing much hardcore off-roading, in a bigger tire than my 265/65/R18 I have now (on their last bit of tread life). I do want to fit in my garage still though...

Thoughts?

Just test drove a set of R/T and they are super quiet for an aggressive tread. They are almost the same tread gap as the Nitto Trails just a little bit tighter. Got a 45k mileage warranty too! Now the G2s are way too mild for anything looking aggressive! I went with some Nitto Exos and the sidewall is way more aggressive than R/T but more all terrain tread. So if I were you and strictly wanted aggressive tread then R/T is the answer but sidewall would go to Exos.

BG I would go for the RT, it looks more aggressive.

01 can you post pics of the Exos on your rig?

Also how much are those tires (RT and Exos)? I looked at those and they want ~$350 per tire.

I just ordered terra grapplers and will have them in a week or so. Hoping they live up to the good things I've heard.

I am VERY happy with my NITTO TERRA GRAPPLER'S. Hardly any road noise and I think they look great on the truck.
