Well, that narrows it down a lot better than what my dealer did on my order...
I think now that it's built it should go faster than that but I really have nothing to base that on.

Received my invoice today. It was built this week and at status 3800. The estimated delivery date on the invoice says 11/13. I laughed. That likely won't happen according to this thread.
The GM Emp price was cheaper than I was expecting. ($67k) The MSRP shows $75K and Invoice is $73K. I'm not sure if I should be 1) Happy or 2) Worried that a "box" wasn't checked and I dropped an option on accident - worked very closely with my salesman.
It doesn't appear that way but these things have so many choices when ordering - especially when you start considering all of the LPOs (dealer installed crap). I was expecting to pay in the low 70's before taxes.

Update: I received the magic number 4200 - SHIPPED!!
Good new! The bad, the expected date of arrival is 11/21, three more weeks...

Sounds like 2-3 weeks away typically for a "Bayed" vehicle
That's the kind of think I like to hear, thank you!
What I have heard from some dealers Bayed is when it's built, quality checks completed, and all recall items are resolved. Mine took 3 weeks, to the day, before it moved off of 4B00.

I've heard just the opposite...that a bayed vehicle is awaiting all of those items.
The interesting this is I'm getting different answers from the dealer and from the GMC chat people. Today the dealer said it was 4B00 and then this afternoon the GMC chat people said it was at 4000 and was waiting a batch headed for my area. Ugh.
Go to GMC.com and on the right hand side is a link to GMC chat. Ask for status and location.

Saweet! Did they give ETA? Like I said, mine was 3 weeks (ETA Nov 21). But I'm guessing it will arrive earlier than that.
I'm hoping it's just a couple more weeks...Similar threads
