Not sure either. But I've been reading around the inerwebs and I can't find anyone having their 2015i built before 10/6. Having said that, I do see a few 2015i vehicles on a couple lots around Portland.

Right, 10/6 was the start of 2015i production in Arlington. I am curious about how inventory orders have showed up prior to already sold orders. Which dealer are you using?

4/30 - first order. Never accepted by GM. Turns out that's a good thing.
9/9 - (re)ordered.
10/6-10/7 - built and bayed (have VIN)
10/28 - moved from Arlington across the freeway to Grand Prairie waiting to be put on a train.

Can't wait!

Fyi, mine sat at the Grand Prarie lot for three weeks. It was built on 10/7. Now it's back at Arlington, got its quality control inspection and is now awaiting final shipment.

I went through a small dealer near Portland, OR. Autotown GMC. They don't have a 2015i on their lot, but a couple others around town do. Well, I should say, according to the GMC vehicle locator they do. It's been pretty accurate in the past. I might go to one tonight and see if they do have the 2015i.
When I was frustrated with the first order my sale rep told me there were 509 orders in the NW. Given that, I would think there's enough at Grand Prairie to fill a train.

I just checked with GMC chat. Still at 4B00...

Further update from my GM district manager: mine will be loaded onto a train Thursday afternoon and will go to 4200 status after 6pm est

My dealer told me on Monday that the latest code he's seeing is 4150 - invoiced (billed to dealership) and GMC is telling me that it's still at 3800. I'm supposed to get an email from the dealer tomorrow and I may see if he'll reach out to GM for more specific information.

Oh well, I never have been a patient person.

We don't have a GMC dealer in Eugene so I called every one in the state and asked to be called back when they could order a 2015i. The only one to ever get back to me is the one in Cottage Grove so I ordered through them. I even drove up to Corvallis and test drove a 6-speed version and the dealer there hasn't gotten back to me. It's pretty amazing.

Okay, well I've got a little progress to report. Mine is now at 4000. I guess that means Available for Transport. I hope it doesn't take another two weeks to get shipped but I suppose it's possible.
