Did you get your bumpstops cut off yet? If so, got any pics of the rear laid out?

Not yet. Been busy with work and other stuff because of the holidays... And other projects. My plan is to get to that within the next few weeks

Nathan, Didn't know you went all in. Looks great. I just wanted to reiterate what's already stated, you can do the travel mod without affecting the perch. Chopped both my burban and the esky.

Doesn't look like your front is sitting as low as either of mine sat when emptied out. Looks like maybe 3/4 to 7/8" higher when dumped?

Yeah I think I'm gonna cut them next weekend. Just trying to find the time. Do you have any good pics of yours cut?

No. I noticed that too. No idea why. I've been contemplating doing Tony's strut mod, but also might just go ahead and tub my fenders and then do the new Belltech spindles or 3" A-arms.

Not sure what to do about the rear. I'm close to doing a mini notch and just go as low as possible without going in to the body...

Let me scrub my hard drive (and phone pics). One thing I am terrible at is archiving my modding mid project. I know I took a pic on the drivers side of the burban with my phone for sure. I'll do a little digging tonite for ya.

Man if you do the spindles and mini notch, I think that would be the ultimate. Especially if you keep the body/interior intact by just maximizing the room underneath. That I would love to see.

yeah I'd like to basically go as low as possible without cutting in to the body.

I'm having mine cut up to lay frame in February :superhack:
Can't wait :D

If you don't mind me asking, what's it gonna cost? And How much of your cargo area are you gonna be missing? Can you PM me some details?

Chassis by Aaron Iha is doing mine. He already bagged mine and I'm paying cash, so he's hooking me up (I think) :happy175:
I have estimates from 9500 - 15000 from various shops. I'm paying somewhere between those estimates which also includes powder coat and chroming the parts. I will need to have some interior work down after and a new sub box made. I plan on keeping the back seat which will only hold 2, not 3 due to the tubbs. The third row will be gone but I have never used it anyways due to my current sub box.

Did you keep your back seat? If so can you post a pic?

Please please please take detailed pics (if possible). I have to keep my 3rd row (due to kids) so that's why I don't' want to cut in to the body...

He has 6 12's back there. He told me:

im not sure the exact height of my 3rd row area..but i don't see why you can put you a 3rd row back in

i think if you just cut the bumpstop bracket off you will be happy. Honestly with kids and driving it everyday id spend the 10k somewhere else. Ie big brakes and a blower.
