I have some decent meat on my current rotors, but they need to be cut at minimum since they have some heat spots on them. So I'm considering of getting new rotors and pads, but want to find good ones at a good price. Anyone have any recommendations?

I went with EBC rotors and Hawk pads on my 07 and was happy with them. The OEM ones suck and warp if you look at them wrong.

Right now you can click the link in my signature and use coupon code FFDISCOUNT through tomorrow night at midnight pacific and save an extra 15% off with free shipping on everything over $99. Of the rotors represented when you look them up, both the Eline Series and Premium series rotors are high quality products, with the Premium series being the stronger of the two options. I highly recommend the posiquiet ceramic pads for these trucks, I have had them on my Duramax since Jan 09 and on the wife's 04 Yukon Denali next month is two years with very little wear and without loss of braking performance.

Check out their catalog and let me know if you have any questions, I am more than willing to help you find exactly what you need. I offer other brands as well, but I promote the R1Concepts products over others because I believe they are the best possible value.

Thanks for the replies so far.

I have owned different cars/trucks, and one thing I forgot to ask about is brake dust. On BMW's, it is absurd how often you need to clean the wheels, so when it came time to change the pads, I went with a low dust pad. Let me tell you it made a HUGE difference.
So aside from any benefits you get in either cost savings or stopping power with aftermarket rotors/pads, how are the ones recommended with dust?

I have the R1 Concepts drilled and slotted rotors and posiquiet pads on two of my rides and have virtually zero issues with brake dust on either one of them.

I agree with going with r1 concepts. They are a great upgrade for the price. Although I have different rotors, I'm running the pos quiet pads and they are awesome. No noise, great stopping power and low dust. I had EBC green stuff before and like the posi quiet over them.

Which ceramic pads as I do not see a package deal on their website that include pads?

There isn't a package listed on their website that "includes" the pads. You just have to add the rotors and pads to your cart separately.

That being said, apparently we had so many folks trying to order through the website that some folks didn't get what they were wanting in time for the sale so they extended it until this Friday, Oct 25th at 11pm PST. Just use the same coupon code FFDISCOUNT during check out to save 15% off the catalog price with free shipping on all orders over $99.

If you have ANY issues or questions feel free to let me know and I will be glad to help you in any way that I can.

I guess PM me then because not only am I having some trouble with the website, but I also had someone else contact me about a complete package that is less expensive(from what I call tell having trouble with your website).

As an FYI, I have a 2007 Sub 1500, and would replace all 4 rotors and need pads. I am not sure if there are any sensors, but what ever would be a standard brake swap is what I am looking for. I might also want brake fluid to flush the system while I am at it.

I will send you a pm with a quote shortly. The number one thing to remember about the pricing. I do not promote R1Concepts because they are the cheapest options out there. I promote their rotors and the PosiQuiet ceramic pads because I have tested them in much harsher conditions than you will probably ever see in your Suburban. I originally installed their Premium drilled and slotted rotors and Posiquiet ceramic pads in January of 2009, ran them all year, (hauling farm goods throughout the year) and during the Christmas season that year ran about 7K miles under average loads with a total gross combined vehicle weight of 35K lbs through the mountains of Virginia, conditions that normally left me with metal to metal with absolutely nothing left of the pads themselves and the rotors so damaged they weren't salvageable. Not only did they survive, I ran one more year hauling and one more Christmas tree season before I had to quit hauling due to increased physical issues. Those rotors and pads are still on the truck sitting in the driveway today with over 50% of the pads still left on them. As for the rotors? No warping, no cracking, no pitting.....nothing. IMHO, although not the absolute cheapest out there, you will not find a better value on rotors and pads. Period. I am currently running their drilled and slotted rotors on everything I own, right down to my son's daily driver 2000 Suzuki Esteem. There will never be another combo put on anything I own.

The R1 website HAS been having issues this week, allow me time to make a phone call and I will PM you with the details.

(((Side note, NO, I was NOT running legal with the weights of the Christmas trees and YES, I greatly surpassed what the truck was built for, but the truck never whimpered and after installing those brake parts I haven't had to buy more. Before that I was replacing stock style rotors with ceramic pads every single season without fail)))
