Got my HID foglights done!

I got them from DDM tuning for only $40(yes, I know some have had issues but for the $$, was worth it)! It was very easy to do btw, all 30 minutes of it! I even took the lens cover off of the foglight and cut out the reflector so the bulb sat flush.

this would be my lows(low 6 mod turned into low 8). The low's are Sylvania Ultra's and the drl's are clear with a smoked housing.

My pass. side fog cracked where it seals and it's all filled with water. Looks like it's the perfect time to seperate em and put em in

Not sure what temp I want to run on the fogs.. I'm bout to install the 12k low kit as soon as I get back to my truck.. just not sure if I want 10K blue on the fogs.. or even 4K yellow...

4k isnt yellow. 3k is yellow. I run 4300k in both my trucks now (stock 4300k on the vette) and they are plenty blue for me. Infact the yukon kit is almost a little to blue for my taste.

I wasnt going to at first because the silverstars ran me $50 but I think might be winter because the fogs are brighter than the lows and being blind in 1 eye, I could use the extra light.

I ordered the 6000k hoping they wouldnt be blue but these have a blue tint to them. I really just wanted white but these grew on mine instantly Shit, anything was better than the dull yellow flashlights that were in there before.

how hard is it to install them? where do you mount the ballast?

plug and play. very easy and I mounted the ballasts behind the headlights on the back side of the bumper.

6K's on mine, simple plug and play, agreed, put high up, behind headlights.
