1995 yukon steering wheel 180 out of alignment

how to fix steering wheel that is 180 degrees out of alignment.. truck drives str8 down the road but the steering wheel is at 12 and 6.. any ideas to fix the problem... has complete new front suspension parts.. just recently purchased truck..

Pull it off and re align it. just be sure something is not bent out of hell first. Can you post a pic please first with the wheels pointed straight. Forward.

The easiest way is to whack the bumper with a sledge hammer until it explodes.

Let me break it then. You cant hit bumpers and make them explode. The vehicle must endure a specific g-force threshold in a specific spread pattern in order to make then deploy.

Sun, you may kill it with logic, but the mental image of someone bashing a bumper with a hammer and watching the airbag explode.....always funny.

Are you sure there was not a misalignment of the rest of steering system and with the wheel in that position is the pit-man arm pointing straight ahead or off to an angle?

I do but I love to mess it up with logic. Seems logical to do so.
