the CLS AMG is such a sleeper car. couple mods and your at 500+ hp

Agreed. But merc considers it a lux sedan not a sports car. So aka needs to be Rich woman drivable. And easier for them to not invest in manual as people dropping mad cheddar on Benz are lazy and want auto. That's harsh reality.
