This is something I'm very interested in doing, I believe Nathan said this will not work for 2008 Tahoes correct??
Hey Nathan, Id like to do this - I have a 2007 Yukon slt with factory nav, but I dont have a usb plug in the console. is there one behind the headunit?
would this work with my 2009 ltz with stock navigation head unit? How would I get it to interact with my iphone, ie: charge, play music?
If your stock radio has USB there will already be a USB plug in the console if not you will need to do an aftermarket radio.
This is fantastic. I was brought here from a Google search on this exact subject. Thanks! Two questions:
1. Do you know if there are more than one USB port on the back of a factory 2013 Yukon Denali Nav unit?
2. If there isn't, could I use a USB 'hub' to allow both the center console USB port and soon to be newly installed dash USB port to continue to function? I understand I couldn't have two iPhones or devices plugged in at the same time but it would be nice to retain the use of the original center console USB.
I brought a mini usb male to male and it did not fit. The gm one looks square and the regular one is round
