I've got a brand new 350 v8 5.7L 255 HP you guys know the details. The other went sour... Anyways, I'm either looking for some serious upgrades or just **** this new long block and get something else maybe a zz383e or something else from GM. I've got a K&N cold air intake system and dual magnaflow exhaust but that's just to listen to. Also, if anyone's got any ideas about transmissions suspension and overall performance of the car that would be great too.

Why replace a brand new motor? IF you have the money to spend though a 383 is nice. Careful with the zz383 though, many states it will not pass emmisions if I remember correctly.

I would add headers, a CUSTOM tune from BB or similar, maybe some gears to perk it up also. Are you running 3.42 or 3.73 right now?

What kind of headers? Long or short? What company to go with? Destroyer said E-Fans that's probably a decent idea. Sadly I've heard of yall talking bout' a BB Tune but never heard of it. I've decided to keep the engine that's in it now. Ok keep going with the ideas. Supercharger would be great but I don't think I have what it takes... Wouldn't I need a new rear end and a stronger transmission?

How bout a cam shaft? Anyone into that or know more about it, what I could go with, best power for price? Sporty intake gaskets? IF I was to get a BB Tune could I use a sport tuner along with it, the kind you plug in? Are High Flow Catalytic converters worth the price?

umm ill answer a couple questions
Go long tubes!
electric fans are always good (either OEM, flexalite, perma cool etc etc)
no you cant have an additional tuner with the BB, NOR IS IT NEEDED!
supercharger- a built trans would be needed, but the stock on could take some abuse. The rear end would be last to do on the drivetrain list..

Keep in mind that not many long tube will pass emmisions if it matters. Also, add all the mods you want before you get a custom tune and forget about a hand held tuner. If you want a hand held hit me up, I have an old hypertech that needs to be reset.

What will the E-Fans do for me? Anyone know about Cams? Which one would be decent to go with?

Electric fans take some load off the motor since it is currently belt driven and in return frees up a few exrta ponies.

As for cams, not sure. BB might be able to help. Have you contacted jennabear? She is on this site, she is black bear tuning.

E-fans will free up some hp because unlike the the belt-driven one they can be set to come on when when the need to be on, instead of just running all the time regardless of what temp you are at. I think it helps with mpgs as well, just dont know how much.

Electric fans allow quicker warm ups and cool downs, longer water pump life, less fan noise, improved air conditioner performance, improve gas mileage, more horses and possible some other things as well..

They look a shit load better if you ask me too! allowing more room in the engine compartment to work with. and im sure theres more :) you get the idea
