I bought this 96 2 door LT with no motor for my step-son.I put the engine from my old 96 silvy in it,just rebuilt trans(local tranny shop rebuilt )The kid lost his job so I got the tahoe back and was going to keep it for a spare.Now I think I want to sell it.

What should I ask for it.140k everything works but the A/C.

The fact thats it's a 2 door helps, but i think the engine swap and broken a/c is gonna put a god dent in the price. And don't forget, curb appeal is a big chunk of private party value too. I would try to at least find matching (cheap steel) wheels for it.

Wow I didn't even notice the wheels...that pic was from when i brought it home on the trailer,it has some generic 18' inch wheels ,I will post up some current pics later today.

L-30 vortec(had about 80k miles) rebuilt stock 4L60 e (with pump and valve body upgrades) stock t-case(push button) stock gears.

The whole point of this thread was to get a general idea what I should ask for it.I have about $3500 in it...

I'd start at 4500 and take anything that gets you north of 3000, how is the interior, engine bay look clean?

Pretty much have decided to just keep it,It is a really solid start for a project.
