Just picked up a 2012 burb and i want to had nav and a back up camera. I do have the Bose system if that makes a difference.

I have kinda looked around at the factory nav but, i can't seem to find one at a good price or trust the sellers...if there are some out there let me know.

I'm looking for something that will retain all the factory operations and something that looks close to stock as possible.

Any input would be great!

I know advent sells one that is nearly identical to a stock unit but they're pricey. I replied to your post regarding the one I have for sale. Pm me when your post count gets high enough.

Now is this plug and play? Or do need to buy other things and have the dealership reprogram it???

Remember that the 2011 and below nav screens are a lot different then the 2012 model. It has a re-designed user interface also. The plugs in the back are also different.

It'll come with whatever came with it stock. You might need a wire harness and you might need to take it to the dealer to get it programmed but you will have hidden costs regardless of whether you chose to get a stock headunit or go aftermarket. I just spent $200 on interfaces and modules just to be able to install my headunit. I'm pretty sure it'll come with the Nav antenna. I just realized you have a 2012 model. It might not work. My truck is a 2007.

The 2012 non nav vehicles do have the same plugs as 07+. If you have factory nav in a 2012 then it has different connectors. I did this in my 2012 Silverado and got the 2012 nav unit from Greg at CPS audio and video and it comes with all needed harnesses and comes preprogrammed with your Vin. You can have him turn on the DVD and backup cameras etc as well. It cost me 1550.00 and it also included a video harness. Check out this thread for pics of the 2012's new UI.
