Jerry, I have not yet got the issue addressed with my Tahoe because every time I get to the dealer they wan to keep the Tahoe for two days and I can't do that because it's my only car. I have asked a local dealership (one of the largest Chevy dealers in the US) and they knew exactly what I was talking about, just could not make it over there.
Don't bother with those little dealers, they don't push out enough cars that have the suspension or wheels/tires modified to know what you are talking about.

I have a 2WD and can testify that the McG spindles DID NOT cause the issue with mine. I started getting the light the moment I got a 24" wheel/tire package. It continued to my 26s with the drop spindles.
If you can wait until summer I can guarantee you I will get it fixed by then but when I'm in school it's too much of a hassle to drop it off because the light does not bother me and I know it's not messing up anything.

So I am going to have to worry about this issue if I drop my 07 with Belltech spindles on OE 20s.

First I have to convince the wife to let me lower her truck. If it screws up after I drop it the s$&: is gonna hit the fan!! LOL

I will get you a customers email shortly. He had the same issue and went with belltech spindles. Ones stopped completly and others with the belltechs only happens time to time. He said it was 95 percent better with belltech than with the mcgaughys spindles.

Give me a few to find the info.

is your guys a 2007 also?

Everybody go and get the Belltech spindles. It will solve the issue for all cases (including mine that did it before the spindle drop).

I'm not defending McG because I personally like Belltech better, but it can't be a complete McGaughy issue or most of the people with their spindles would have the problem. Key thing is most of them do not have the issue.

Modded not even like that. Something is causing the trucks to do this with their spindle. Are your.guys trucks 2wd or 4x4 that this is happening on? 2007 models?

2010 4x4 tahoe . its only models with RPO code JL4 (stability control) not sure if ALL 07 up tahoes have this but the bulletin says that. i would swich to beltech spindles if i could sell my mgc spindles and not have to throw alot of money at it, but i do like the idea of the mcg spindles using the same steering geometry as the stock spindle. i love my lowering kit i feel like it rides and handles great . just hate that light flashing every now and then. but seeing how i could SWITCH to belltech spindles and still have the issue doesnt seem worth the hassle, seems like it will only go away when i go back to stock height for the winters.

Lets use this as a test.

How about i shoot you spindles you pay for shipping and if it works out better you pay for part. I really want to see whats going on here since I sell these kits here and really never had such a bad problem like you guys are having on the 07s with mcgaughys spindles.

LIke i said one customers it totally went away going to the belltechs and another went 95 percent better.

If your interested in trying this out lets go with it. ALso make sure the front lines are ok when pulling it all apart.

with the mcgauhys spindles light woudl come on when turning into his driveway or he said doing a slow right or left hand turn abs would just kick on with the spindles.

With the belltechs he stated that he could turn fine and u turns were not a issue no abs kick on. Best of all when turning into his driveway he said only happened prob 1 out of 10 times. Ite been a while since I talked to him he was just happy to get it right. BTW he did have the truck flashed at dealer I think tim told him the bulletin but didnt help.

I really want to get this all figured out and seems like the guys truck here is by far the worst I heard.

I would pay for the spindles, install them and give results. If they don't work, then you can take them back.
The main reason why I have not done this a long time ago is because I had the issue before I had the spindle drop. So that is obviously not what caused my issues. A quick search of the web related to larger wheels and tires and traction control lights yielded A LOT of result from Ford to GM cars.

BTW, my ABS has never turned on.

seeing you had your problem before the spindles I want to try to get back to the person who had problems wiht the mcgauhys spindles. I know it helped the others switching to the belltechs so his case would be a great starting point since he had problems only after spindle install.

Then maybe if this helps out we can talk to mcgauhys on what could fix the problem.

at this point i would love the belltech spindles but like im in college and i dont have to extra money to give out for new ones. im so mad that i spent 500 bucks and am having this problem. Im an automotive tech student at a school with a live customer lab and i have spoken to all my instructors they even let me do my drop at school, and they just dont know. i did hear somewhere that the belltech spindles make the front wheels stick out a bit more, im wondering if maby that has something to do with it. tony where are you located. seems like i learned my lesson the hard way and should have just listened to the other members and sent my kit back. no complaints with the rear other than my E-brake cable rubs on the shock

Add another to the list!!! 07 Escalade AWD w/ Autoride and 26s

First installed the 26s, no issues watsoever
Now installed the Belltech 2/3-4 Kit and get the light flash and brake pedal pulse on sharp turns, specifically every time I make a right turn to my house, EVERY TIME!

Did anything ever come of this situation? I read most of the 10 pages and never really got an answer

I've had this issue from day one after installing the belltech 2-3/4 kit (spindles in front / coils in rear). I know exactly when it will happen and it does it 100% of the time when turning near full lock and over 5mph. Every time I leave the airport parking deck each week and am going down the carousel, the T/C kicks in and the ABS pulsates. I have just gotten used to holding down the stabilitrack button until it bypasses. When I exit the parking garage, I hit the button again and enable it.

I would LOVE to get this resolved but can't seem to make it a reality.

I still also have the same issue with my McG spindles.
I think it is an 07/08 model thing.
Does not hurt anything so I don't mind anymore. Mine has been doing it for about 3 years.

Yeah I realize it doesn't hurt anything but it sure is annoying, specially the brake pedal pulsating. No matter how many times it does it and I know to expect it, it still sometimes give me that brief panic attack of the feeling of losing all brake power, been there done that = no fun!

Yeah it was like that for me for about the first six months, then the fear starts to wear off.
After 18 months you will barely notice anymore.

you guys are way off theres a techincal service bulletin from gm on this problem.
seems to be more comomn on the 07 modles. its not noticable untill its been lowered
had the same problem on my 07 avy when i first droped it
document id is
1920299
1702043
1672489

from what my local service rep told me is that theres a sensor under the drivers seat that is supose to sense if the vehicle is going to roll over and ingauges the brake, i noticed it on sharpe turns and if you brake at the same time the pedal bobles back and forth. my local dealership corrected the problem and i never had it since then
Hello; Have 07 with same issues. Tried to solve via various threads. Any insight on the exact problem. Was yours fixed via these TSB's tnx bill
