Here are a few pics from a trip I took while I was in Italy. This was the second time that I had been to the Ferrari Museum. An added bonus to the trip was the Mille Miglia Race, which is a 1000 mile endurance race I believe. There were probably a good 75 or more Ferrari's that came through. All participating in this race.

The biggest part of the trip was getting to drive a Lamborghini Gallardo and a Ferrari F430 though...that was an amazing experience.

Sweet pics! I tell ya what, I got to drive a Gallardo Spyder a year or so ago and what an effing dream!

I'd love to drive an F430. How was it?

If the maintenance and insurance wasnt so ridiculous, I could probably swing like a 2000' 360, lol.

I loved driving the F430, it seemed to have better throttle response than the Gallardo Spyder I drove. I liked the interior of the Lambo better though, had more of a luxury feel/look than the racecar appearance of the Ferrari. If I could have the F430 with the Lambo interior, I'd be in heaven...lol

yeah, the lambo had a weak throttle response. I did notice that. I drove a 2010 Viper ACR right after that and holy hell that thing was ridiculously quick!

Those are some sweet cars ... pretty awesome you got to be the guy who took these photo's, and not the guy checkin' 'em out on this site.....dammit :)

I see Ferrari's rollin' around by me a lot, due to the Hamptons being only a few towns over from me.

It was a blast, I guess one of the perks of being stationed in Italy...lol Maybe one day I can make it back there. I wish I could have went through the factory too, but from what I was told unless you own a Ferrari you aren't getting in. I wish the Lambo and Ducati factories would have let us take pics, it was pretty interesting. While at the Lambo factory some of the kids that were in our group got to choose a color of leather right from the racks and the tour guide cut the pieces out and had them pressed with the Lambo logo.
