None taken... I paid 120.00 free shipping for them it was a best offer. I figure you get what you pay for, the ddm kits are taking weeks to arrive since they come from over seas so i was told on this forum. Plus i don't want problems with ballast going out quick.

One can not tell just based on photo I think what kit is better then another. however the reputation of DDM seems good. Many have them installed and say for price they cant be beat.

I do not have them myself. I got mine from a friend locally. But I am upgrading to 55w 4300K set up for my lows so I was planning on ordering from DDM.

Hmmmm....... correct me if i'm wrong but are hid's bright already meaning does 55w really make a difference from 35w? I've been told never get higher wattage bulbs cause you would have to upgrade the wireing. Cause i just got mine today and they are bright as the sun. Sun tan anyone.....lol

You do not have to upgrade bulbs all time most good kit that you buy will handle up to 60w at least from what my buddy said when I asked for a 55w set f ballasts the ballasts control the output not bulbs. Their is a huge difference in 35 to 55 just like between 4300k vs 6000k bulbs

You shouldn't have to upgrade the wiring, usually. But if you get flickering or misfire, a relay harness should solve that problem. And if you have proper hid projectors or even some decent halogen projectors, 35 watt should be plenty.

I wis it was enough but they are terribly dim for me at 35w in projectors.

ok. I got relay in it now. I talked to my GF she said just get a new set of clear euro style headlights. She said they look dim to. We both have factory HID's on our other cars. I took and parked her G37 next to the Hoe and laughed at how much brighter hers are. She just has stock 4300k phillips kit from Infiniti and then the Fog lights are 3000k.

If I was to order a 55w kit from DDM in 9006 size would I risk melting clear style housings? I have seen some guys running 55w as highs in there OBS.

How much heat they can handle depends on the quality of the housings. Although, hids run cooler than halogens so you might be ok with 55w. If you get clear euros, maybe try your 35w first to see how bright they are.
