Hi folks,

Just wanted to let everyone know that I decided to take the drop kit off. It's actually not really on account of the couple of minor issues I've had cause I'm sure we would have figured it out soon and easily enough by either cutting down the bumpstops and/or cutting off their brackets.

As much as I liked the way the truck looked, after careful consideration, I have decided to go in an entirely new direction. Namely, other than the front grilles I'm going to bring the whole thing back to GM oem. So the kit is off, the Enkei rims will soon be off too, and a nice set of oem 22s will go on.

In a way, as a recent and first time Tahoe owner I wanted to see what was possible and what would look good with the Hybrid model. I feel I have achieved that rather quickly and I'm very happy to have tried it, expense and all.

Last, let me thank everyone on this thread for helping me sort out the ride quality and the other minor issues. Your help has been noted and deeply appreciated. :waytogo:

Cheers!

ok so to get more feedback here to help everyone and myself also.

1) front has spindles and doesn't really chnage ride and you got it aligned and no issues there right?

2) rear the drop spring was close to the bumpstops but you didnt want to cut them off to get more travel so lifting it back up?

Yes, the front spindles rode like stock, no problems there. Very slight rubbing at the rear of the front wheel liners on full lock and reverse on half lock ... probably on account of my size rim and tires and the fact that the Hybrid sits a little lower in front to begin with that non-hybrid stock Tahoes.

2) rear the drop spring was close to the bumpstops but you didnt want to cut them off to get more travel so lifting it back up?

That's right.

Thanks for all your help Tony, I appreciate it.

Man, that sucks dude.. The Tahoe looked awesome while it lasted. Do us all a favor and keep your sig though:p I wish you the best of luck in your future modding of it. Please allow me to take the torch from here and carry it to the finishline though:)
