No doubt. I'm currently on the hunt for someone who can make me some custom center caps. There's a brand name on the back of these OEM caps so I'm going to google them and see if there is a way that they either offer or can make me some plain caps or even caps with a bowtie. We shall see :)

I picked up the rims tonight and they are definitely nice! If worse comes to worse and I can't find different center caps the I can sell these for more than I paid for them. So I couldn't really lose on these :)

That's my thought too. I may even investigate local shops that may be able to make me a one off set or something. I'll get it figured out I think:)

As I search for different center caps I'm wondering if these rims are still too new to have generic or plain caps available for them. I think they've only been out since 2007 so is it possible that they'll eventually have someone who produces a generic cap for them? The reason I ask this is because I see all kind of other plain caps for the other GM wheels but nothing so far for this one so I'm wondering if that is the case

I found generic caps for mine. Mine are way more common though. Probably will take more time for generic caps to come out.

:banghead: I'm now searching for ABS plastic fabricators. We'll see if I find anyone willing to do a job as small as this :D I may just have to run around with GMC centers until I get what I want :)

Or maybe find someone that can cut the GMC part out of the cap, fill in the hole, and re-chrome it.... or whatever the hell they do to plastic to make it shiny.

Once you get them, you can actually get precise measurements. I found a set I would suspect may fit. They are "blanks" that were made to fit Escalade 22 inch rims. I suspect that the center would be the same size. The problem is that the e-bay sellers aren't very helpful in getting you pics with measurements of the bask of the cap.

Yeah, I've already got them and I've put one of the centers in my car so that if I find a place who may be able to fabricate something for me I'll have them ready.

I've also contacted a seller on Ebay who was actually selling this exact rim but it was a replica (not OEM) but the cap still had the GMC in the center. So I asked them since they sell replica GM rims if they could get me the same caps but without the GMC. We'll see if they respond back with anything helpful

Do you mean the way the lock in or the way they look? Both are basic round center caps, I am guessing they are about 8 inches wide.

I'm thinking that the way they lock is different. If I'm wrong on that the second one you have listed I could definitely live with :) Where is that from?

e-bay of course!!

I have never seen either of the wheels with the center caps off, or seen the back of the caps. I have no clue, I was just going on the size and shape.

Sure would be nice if they showed the back view of that cap. I'm going to contact them and ask if they'll send me a pic of the rear of it.

Felix, you say you've researched this before. Did you see the back of this cap to know for sure?

I'm going to call the place advertised in this ad (http://kansascity.craigslist.org/aos/2292171612.html) and see if they can fabricate what I want somehow. They may charge me an arm and a leg but we'll see. I'll let you know what they say once I'm able to talk to them....
