I'm looking for a decent Tahoe,2002ish.I like the looks of them, but the rear of it bothers me some.I'm not a big aesthetics guy,but the bumper looks a little disjointed, the typical GM "let's throw a 1/2 ton pickup bumper on there and call it done".

And I'm a guy who like a lot of chrome.(maybe not the answer)
And,I tow.

Anyone have any ideas and pics of some factory or aftermarket stuff...not looking for ghetto, just clean and pleasing.

Like it!

Here's mine. I, for starters, am not a guy who likes a lot of chrome so it may not appeal to you. It's essentially factory mainly because I wanted to save functionality and keep the hitch and spare tire that I would have lost going to a roll pan. I agree that the rear bumper looked disjointed though so I painted mine to match. The only aftermarket part on the rear is the smooth vent caps above the tail lights. The only other thing I would have considered that I didn't do would be shaving the wiper and relocating the hatch popper. Here's the pics -

Effeckt has good taste. Painted bumper, LED tails, smooth vent caps, & de-badged.

I have a painted cover on mine, but I also plan on getting the WAAG rear gard like Oak just got.

Sorry I forgot to mention the led tails. They are the smoked ones like Tahoewhat said.
Ah...thank you...I think those would look really good on my red tahoe...

That looks real good. But I guess the idea is,if you have colored front bumper, match it with a colored rear bumper...if your chromed up front, painted rear won't cut it.

There's just something about chrome bumpers I like.Maybe it's the psych thing that it's solid and if someone bumps into chrome,it's not an automatic trip to the body shop.

The straight side view of a Tahoe still shows a bumper that looks like it's ready to drop off or something, like it's not a part of the rest of things.

That looks good also. The Denali package,I guess, unifies things a bit better. But the rear bumper still looks tacked on.

I guess I've had trucks for life, and I guess I look at the Tahoe like a truck.
When I think truck,I think chrome.When I think mini-van I think painted bumpers. (what's in my head)

I like your wheels. What are they from?

thanks i got them in the mail and the plastic seems cheap like the sun would melt them haha

Yeah I thought the same thing. Especially in the hot Arizona sun. I went ahead and got them painted and installed and I haven't had any issues though so you should be fine.
