I would not use that interface unless you plan to swap out all your speakers(and amp them). You just need a simple LOC(line output converter) like this one:

You can go to a local car audio shop and pick one up for cheap. As far as hooking it up, just tap in to the rear door speakers input(you'll need to tap in somwhere that has the left and right input). As far as a 12v signal for the remote turn on, you can find one behind the head unit.

If you plan on replacing all the speakers and adding either a 5 channel/2 amps, I would either suggest replacing the head unit for an aftermarket or getting a signal processor:

at least that way you could eliminate the factory eq curves and get a good pre-out voltage to your amps.

And with the 3lt, I'm pretty sure you do have a premium bose system.

Wouldnt the wires between the amp and factory subwoofer be the place to tap in since Im adding a subwoofer anyway? I wont need anything over 100hz

I saw a good deal on a 8" L7 and hopefully I could make a mini box and put it under the console where the stock one is...

EDIT: I had 2x 12"L7 and I got over the obnoxious bass... just a little better than stock is all I need

The bose amp would be the perfect place to tap in, I was just assuming you didn't want to take out the center console.

From the research ive done, the wires are very easy to get to. Just under the cupholders.

I gotta agree with your wife, the bose system isn't all that great in the yukons. They need more base. Even my Nitro had a small 10" sub under the seat (factory)

FYI usually factory head units will limit the amount of bass as the volume gets cranked up. At least on door speakers, but I'm not sure on factory subs

I've used line converters and hated them. Would love the RF three.sixty or Alpine Imprint processor! Expensive but worth it if adding on later down the road
