No need for power tools or melted plastic and dust

Well I lied, the hole was too small so I ended up filing the edges, so I did make some dust.
At least that cleaned up the lines, looked good.
The '07-'14 filter fits perfect. They should label those retrofit kits for '04-'14. (or '03-'14?)

This is the kit I bought, very happy with the price and no issues I can find. Fit perfectly.

I sprayed the Toyota evap cleaner, I just taped up the filter and blower resistor holes around the hose.
Caught leakage with a towel.

Still have to try the conditionaire, but not looking forward to breathing the chemical. (2-Biphenylol or o-phenyphenol or biphenyl-2-ol)?

You're supposed to spray it for ~2 minutes into the hvac intake, on recirc with the windows closed..
I don't know if that little can will last that long!?

With 138k miles on it, it would honestly take $20k for me to let it go
Even that would be hard to do as I don’t need the $$$ and I don’t know what I could

I think if I got a really great offer I'd sell my 03. Considering it has a lot of mods to the motor, transmission and suspension. Definitely not pretty to look at anymore but she runs and handles great.

I didn't know your Suburban had the Autoride. Neither of mine have that system.

Yep, the emblem I removed said "LT autoride". The stiffer KYBs feels better to me, less floaty.
Plus I couldn't find replacement Z55 struts for the 2500, so I figured it was only a matter of time.

Removed the height sensors also, the left rear had two extension harnesses, one for shock and one for height sensor..
It's like GM made the main harness too short on purpose and added some wire.. (plugs are different on the ends of extension harnesses)

KYBs were approximately 1/4" longer in front, and 1/2" shorter in the rear at full extension.
New control arms are on the horizon.. but I need to fix my exhaust leaks first one day..

Know what i learned about those? The steering wheel itself is a much thinner metal then The Club. I've seen videos where it took 30 seconds to cut through the steering wheel with a hacksaw blade. The club is still locked in 1 piece tho.

I went for the lock that prevents the brake pedal from being depressed and put the vehicle into gear. My first Tahoe was stolen after the door lock was punched out, but no brake lock. Fortunately it was recovered the next day. It was broken into three more times after that yet the brake lock remained undefeated.

Whenever out of the garage with the second Tahoe, and I have to park in questionable (everywhere?) areas I continue to use the brake lock along with a steering wheel lock that attaches to the seat belt. I know it is not difficult to defeat the seat belt lock if you know how, but it's high visibility ......... and then there's the kill switch.

Yes, definitely deeper and has 2 additional pieces that pop in and out if you want 4 cupholders. Here is the link, I actually ordered off Etsy.

Finally had some time to finish my trans hard part updates.

Got my sonnax corvette ratio servo installed. Super easy job on these trucks. I was done so quick I forgot to take pictures. Enjoy an image of the box and old parts in there for safe keeping. Lol

FYI the sonnax kit does NOT include a cover gasket and I lost my first.one so I had to order a second from rockauto.

Now I just need to get out my pc and work on the trans tune a little.

I believe it is different. Doesn’t your Escalade have the “door” that closes over the cup holders when not in use.
