Disassembled the used center console I got from Wrench a Part and cleaned it top to bottom (years of spilled sodas) and got it installed in the truck. I more thing to X off the list. Only about 50 left lol
These things go together so easily, makes mixing and matching parts a breeze. I originally had the center jump seat, and swapped a center console into mine. So much better.

"Should be..." LOL Afraid to look, eh?
Ha….. If I open it up……. I always clean whatever I work on……. Common sense. Plus you can discover something that needs attention as you clean. ( Was my reputation as I ‘detail’ off-shore powerboats / engine bay before race days … It’s the little stuff that can stop a million dollar Cigarette boat. )

I'm the same way. If I'm taking it off and gonna put it back on, it gets cleaned. If it's a used part I bought, it gets cleaned. If it's new to me, I want it to be as close to new as possible.

Public Service Announcement:
Check your liftglass hinges, make sure there are retainers (E-clips maybe?) installed!

I went to open my liftglass today, pushed up a little, and suddenly the whole glass came loose!
Yea I have to prime and paint that spot.. along with 5 other spots...

Left strut popped off, right strut was still attached.. I could not place the liftglass back on hinges despite pulling down on the right strut.
Was able to rest it on the ground still attached, so I went and got a pick to pry the right strut retainer off..
If one strut is stronger, put it on the left side!! I'm just happy I didn't break it!
Harbor freight E-clip selection saved the day! (Temporarily?)
They fit, and haven't fallen off, but there wasn't much of a 'click' installing them..

Now I'm wondering if I need to check all the door hinges too.. sheesh..

CHMSL surround is looking really Sad on the caddy. Cracked in several places. Im trying to save it with hot staples and JB weld, but its very brittle. Anyone know of any reproductions? I assume basically all used ones are in similar condition at this point.

Regular maintenance today for the '04 at 116,999 mi. I just couldn't drive that other mile to get it to roll to 117k. But I will soon. ;)

Rotated tires and cleaned the back sides of the wheels while they were off
Aired all 5 up to 40psi (son will be towing soon...) Reprogrammed wheel positions with the Autel scanner
Inspected brakes
Oil & Filter change: Valvoline Restore & Protect 5w30 and Wix 51522 (long); reset oil life monitor - not that I use it
Checked all lights
Overall look-see

EDIT: A week ago I checked the fluid in both diffs and the transfer case.
