I need some help! 03 yukon denali nss plug missing and have another to splice on!

hi guys i been googling wiring un wiring second guessing banging face off the trans pan trying to move forward lol!! my truck had the switch connector broken off and i never got to see it with the wire colors and pins in right spot! That being said i these colors and wires on the trucks harness "Pic Attached #1" and i got a salvage yard replacement plug with little wire on it "Pic attached #2" and its not working in my favor to get this back to normal the truck has been sitting for 10 years and now getting things fixed and working not having monkey crap stuff left behind jus wanna join wires solder shrink tube and get it off jack stands.... thanks in advance!

I THINK I got the gist of what was being asked, since it was all one long jumble of words. Do as @Fless said.

I couldn't tell what the plug was for -- never heard of an nss plug, but I don't do well with deciphering initialisms, if that's what that is.

Neutral Safety Switch (NSS).

There are 2 types of NSS on the GMT800, the earlier ones used 2 plugs, and the later ones used a single, larger plug on them. I don't recall the transition year at the moment. Just match what NSS you have on your vehicle. Go to the junkyard and find a matching one. The colors should all match. There should be online wiring diagrams for either.

Just beware that a lot (maybe all of them?) of the plugs were glued in place at the factory. A gentle heat with a hair blow dryer or a heat gun will melt the adhesive away and you will be able to remove the plug w/o breaking it...

The thread is talking about a swap, so the content about what wires are/aren't needed doesn't apply to the OP. Also, it does not matter if it is 4L60e or 4L80e because the wirings and switches are the still the same.

And to clarify, what I meant to say earlier is that OP needs to match the pigtail(s) to the existing NSS.
