Do I need a relay harness when doing HID in fogs? I'm going to be getting 25W bulbs and 25W ballasts from Spencers.

Thanks.

Haha Tahoe26 35W ones melt the housings pretty quick, a 50W one will melt it in the first 30 minutes of use.
25W is the way to go with HID fogs in the NNBS models.

X2, unless you are real carefull with the 35 watts. 50 watts are out of the question for fogs.
Another good option is LED bulbs in the fogs if you have 6000K HID headlights

You should be able to snip the OEM harness and put the female ends on the oem harness and plug it in.

Just pop out the factory bulb and insert the metal prongs from the new bulb into the socket. The HID's will be the same, you'll just have to mount the ballast somewhere.

Why isn't a relay harness necessary for the HID fogs?

The fogs don't have any of the issues that can damage the low beam HID's... automatic start-up flicker, DRL use, etc.

So in the pic above remove the bulb from the gold socket?

I was looking the wiring harness after disconnecting the light above and saw no way those prongs would go anywhere.

thx guys.
