I have a 2005 LT 4x4 Suburban in Bermuda Blue and have recently purchased a 2003 Z71 4x4 Green Suburban.
Trying to think of the features that are in the "05 that I can upgrade in my '03

Hydroboost brakes
E-fans
TPMS
What else is missing?

My '05 has JL4 Brakes and Traction control... But don't think it is feasible to upgrade that in the 03.

What am I missing?

Hydroboost brakes
There's a 2011 (?) HydroBoost widely considered to be a superior upgrade
If the only thing you want from a tune is a pair of pcm operated electrical fans, scroll down to the bottom of

Not that much more for a noticeably more thorough tune from

Don't forget to update-upgrade your alternator, fans will run better at dead idle.
Maybe I'm just too old to think anyone really needs this, but I imagine there's more to it than adding 4 TPMsensors,
don't know if they're supposed to communicate with the ABS module (indirect comparative TPMS),
or if they independently monitor actual tire pressures, which would be more complicated.

So far the GM OE update-upgrades I'm most impressed with are the E-fans,
and the GMT900-2010 front brake kit (fits in 17" wheels, but not 16")
2010 front caliper BRACKETS, CALIPERS, ROTORS, & PADS.
My Tahoe can now scare the driver behind me at will, even at 4 car lengths, will never go back to GMT800 front brakes.

The tpms module is in the passenger door.
Add the module and the tire sensors... And possibly programming and you get tpms.

You can also do the 2019+ front brakes. I did that to my 99 Silverado.

E fans and hydroboost would be pretty easy.

Maybe a 14 bolt rear axle swap? (Not that the 05 would come with this, ut still a cool upgrade).

Don't yet know for sure which GM OE 17" wheels would work properly with GMTK2xx front brake kit, if any ... MAYBE the latest Colorado/Canyon 17" wheels?
Far more GM OE 18" wheels that work well with GMTK2xx front brake kit, but not quite all of them either.
