What is the best sounding exhaust you’ve ever heard on an OBS 2Dr small block 350? A system that wasn’t insanely loud but had a bite and a gravelly sound.

I’m looking for a deep, mellow type sound. If that makes sense?
Magnaflow or borla will do that. Flowmasters on ls are raspy IMO

Alot has to do with what mufflers you buy to. Straight through ones will be louder than a chambered turbo style

Thanks for the reply and advice. I feel that Flowmaster is all but eliminated. I was considering the Flowmaster 50 Series. I had no idea how in depth this process would be.

You want deep, mellow? But, how loud, or not?

My Gibson Extreme Cat-back dual exhaust is very deep and mellow. But, if you open it up a bit, it becomes deep, mellow, and loud.

And, yes, if you ask if there is a drone on those long highway climbs up mountains? The answer is 'yes'. And that is why I invested in a decent aftermarket audio system. I don't hear any drone. :chewie:

Thanks! I’m going to look at the Gibson Extreme. My truck was super loud when I was younger. It had straight pipes & 5 speed manual transmission. It really sounded good but it was so loud! The sound system could use an overhaul
